Holly Talbot works with children and youth who may be facing emotional, social, academic, or personal challenges, and is passionate about helping them feel heard, supported, and understood.
Holly holds a Bachelor of Science from Mount Allison University, a Bachelor of Education from the University of Maine at Fort Kent, and a Master of Education in Counselling from the University of New Brunswick. She has 16 years of experience in education, including 7 years working as a school counsellor, which helps her understand the school and developmental needs of young people.
In her practice, Holly uses approaches such as solution-focused brief therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, and play- and art-based methods, all within a trauma-informed framework. These approaches can help clients build confidence, manage stress, improve emotional regulation, and develop positive coping skills.
Above all, Holly is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space where clients can feel comfortable growing, healing, and working toward their well-being.
