Specialized residences for children and adults

Our five specialized residences are designed to offer specialized services to children/adults with specific developmental, therapy, physical or emotional needs. Our goals are to help them to deal with day-to-day life situations, boost their autonomy and realize their full potential. These placements are arranged by the Department of Social Development.

We have two adult residences and three residences for children/teenagers.

Respite House

Respite House is a service offered to families with special needs children, as well as host families. As the name suggests, the goal is to provide respite to families and to work closely with them for the children’s well-being. Family respite services are available; permanent placements are not provided.

In May 2020, we decided to open the Respite House seven days a week to extend the services provided to families in need. Since that switch to full-time service, we have welcomed children every day.
