Guylaine Charest Landry has practised as a psychologist since 2000 following her studies at the Université de Moncton. In 2017, she joined the team at Family Services Restigouche, offering crucial support to the community. Since 2003, she has been specialized in youth services. In 2021, she extended her sphere of activity to also include adults.

In her practice, Guylaine relies on a client-centred approach backed by a broad range of therapeutic techniques designed to meet the unique needs of each individual. Her preferred techniques include acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), trauma-focused acceptance and commitment therapy (TF-ACT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy (TF-CBT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and cognitive dialectical therapy (CDT), all sensitively adapted to trauma patients’ needs.

Guylaine offers individual therapy sessions and treats various problems, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, trauma, parenting issues, self-regulation, nervous system regulation, grieving, ADHD and adaptation challenges.
