Émilie Frenette is a psychologist with the team at Services à la Famille Restigouche and has been a member of the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick since 2022. She holds a doctorate in clinical psychology and a postgraduate diploma in forensic psychology. Émilie offers psychological assessment and intervention services in both French and English for individuals aged 16 and older.

Throughout her clinical training, Émilie developed expertise in treating a wide range of issues, including anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, mood disorders, post-traumatic stress, and sleep disorders. Her experience at the Restigouche Hospital Center further enhanced her skills in treating psychotic and substance-related disorders, as well as conducting psychological risk assessments for violence and recidivism.

With extensive experience working with vulnerable populations, Émilie is well-versed in the evaluation and treatment of complex issues. She is also the author of scientific publications in the fields of anxiety and neuropsychology.

Émilie uses a cognitive-behavioral approach, incorporating elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to meet the unique needs of each client. She is committed to supporting your mental well-being and helping you achieve your therapeutic goals.
