  • Doctoral student in Clinical Psychology

Carol-Anne Thibault is a doctoral candidate in psychology working with the Restigouche Family Services team. She completed a bachelor’s degree in psychology at the Université de Moncton and is currently pursuing her professional doctorate in psychology.

Through her internships and work experience in school settings, at the Restigouche Hospital Centre (RHC), and in private practice, Carol-Anne has developed a strong understanding of the needs of young people in different contexts.

She is very familiar with the organization, having worked as a counselor/educator in the residences as well as at the Youth Priority Centre during the summers of 2021 and 2022. These experiences allowed her to support youth facing a variety of challenges and to assist them in their daily lives.

Her professional skills are mainly focused on psychoeducational assessments as well as child and adolescent psychology. She works on issues such as bullying, social skills development, emotional regulation, anxiety, and attention deficit disorder with or without hyperactivity (ADHD).

Carol-Anne places great importance on providing compassionate, individualized support to each young person. She takes the time to build a trusting relationship with them and those around them.

  • Every young person benefits from support that is individualized, collaborative, and grounded in understanding.
