Jean-François Sonier is a bilingual project coordinator with over 15 years of experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and community-based initiatives. He holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Analysis and Development from the École nationale d’administration publique (Montréal) and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Université de Moncton.
At Restigouche Family Services, he coordinates the 2SLGBTQI+ Purge Veteran Support Resources for Professionals, prepares funding applications, and supports organizational development. Earlier in his career, he led community-driven arts and culture projects as a freelance project and communications manager and served as Strategic Relations Coordinator within the New Brunswick Community Business Development Corporations’ network.
Jean-François is recognized for his relationship-building skills, his ability to manage complex, multi-partner projects from planning through completion, and his proficiency in bilingual documentation, grant writing, and stakeholder relations.
